Development Coach
Salary Scale: £6,552 per annum
12 hours per week
3 Year contract  (Subject to funding)

English Gymnastics in partnership with Northamptonshire Trampoline Gymnastics Academy are seeking to recruit a dedicated trampoline gymnastics coach to assist in the delivery of the Club and Coach Programme. 

The main aim of the Club and Coach Programme is to increase the number of high-quality coaches working in accredited (GymMark) clubs offering high quality gymnastics experiences to their members.

The appointed person will play a key role in the delivery of coaching sessions to young people within Northamptonshire Trampoline Gymnastics Academy and, will undertake such roles as planning and organising coaching sessions and attending regional training sessions.  In addition the post holder will be required to report to a management group and collate detailed reports on their gymnasts.  Thorough monitoring and evaluation to ensure targets are met is also an essential role requirement.

Applicants should ideally be of level 3 trampoline gymnastics or be willing to work towards this qualification within 1 year of appointment. Have a minimum of 3 years experience coaching trampoline gymnastics in a club, school or local authority setting.  Excellent IT skills, enthusiasm and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. 

The post is offered on a 3 - year temporary basis and, subject to future funding agreements, could be continued.  The post will be based at the Northampton Trampoline Centre. Travel and work at satellite venues and schools within the partnership may also be required.

 

Lead Development Coach
Salary Scale: £ 17,940 – £21,060 per annum
30 hours per week
