The Venue 

 

The 2008 English Trampoline Championships are being held at the GEMTEC Arena, in Hull on Saturday 22nd November.

The GEMTEC Arena is part of Hull's £50 million flagship Stadium and Sports Complex. 
The Arena is situated in West Park adjacent to the Kingston Communications Stadium and is home to the Hull High Fliers Trampoline Club.  Its main sports hall is 54m x 33m - but most importantly from your point of view, it is 9m high!

So, how do you get to Hull (and back) ?
 
By Car 
From the South
1. M1 -> M18
2. M62
From the North
1.  A1(M)
2.  M62 East
From York (1st option)
1. Exit the A1079 at the junction sign posted Skidby and the Humber Bridge.
2. At the T junction turn left and follow the A164 until you reach the Humber bridge roundabout . Take the 3rd exit. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit, get into the left lane and take the next slip road for the A63 to Hull.
From York (2nd option)
1. A1079 Market Weighton roundabout 3rd exit signposted South Cave.
2. Continue through South Cave, take the left slip road onto the A63.

THEN:

3. A63  Follow this road until you go past Makro and the B&Q Superstore on your right hand side.
4. Turn off at the next exit signposted Infirmary and KC Stadium.
5. At the roundabout take the second exit signposted Infirmary and KC Stadium.
6. At the major traffic lights turn left.
7. Go over the flyover, you will see the Stadium to your right.
8. Turn right at the traffic lights into Walton Street. The Arena is along on the right.  Competitors and spectators please use the public car park beyond the arena (click on the plan above).  There are very few spaces in the Arena car park itself - these are reserved!

 

By Train 
Paragon Station is a 10 minute walk from the stadium with a sign-posted pedestrian route via Londesborough Street.
