| | | A young team from the East Midlands held their own with no fewer than 5 finalists in the Feira Cup held at Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal on the 28th, 29th and 30th July 2006.

| The competitors we able to compete in both Trampoline and/or DMT.
For each discipline the competitive groups, male and female, were ‘Youth’ and ‘Open’ and the competition attracted talented performers from Portugal, Spain, Denmark, England and South Africa. |
| Results, Feira Cup, Youth Female (Zero Final) | 
| Congratulations must go to the Youth Female, Trampoline, Winner, Amy Sims (on loan from her coach Steve at the City of Salford). Amy was calm after finishing first in the preliminaries and proved a very capable winner in the zero score final with a tariff of 9.10.

The Ladies Open, Trampoline, also produced a fine preliminary result because Rachel Rodgers (EM), qualified for the finals in 3rd place. Thanks to Rachels good form, she finished a very respectable 5th overall.
Congratulations should also go to her coach Rose Townsend, who made the decision to enter her into the ‘Ladies Open’. | 
| Another great result was produced by our DMT Coach Rebecca Bartlett who found herself in 2nd place after the preliminaries and then finished the final DMT Open Female in a very respectable 4th place.
Well done also to Dale Bevan who qualified for the final Youth Male in 3rd place in both the Trampoline competition and the DMT competition.
Sadly, he slipped to 4th in the DMT finals and 7th in the Trampoline Finals. |
| Everyone attending the ‘Feira Cup’ also attended an event that ran parallel to the tournament, in the city of Santa Maria da Feira.
The city hosted an outstanding Medieval Fair, which is a very important local cultural event, and one of the biggest of its kind in Europe. Its atmosphere did take us back to the Middle Ages, it was great fun and was free; indeed an event worth enjoying.
